About

My name is Myles Kuss, and I am a lifelong New Orleanian who cannot get enough of the city that I get to call my home. After graduating from Jesuit High School in 2016, I pursued my bachelor’s degree in journalism at Louisiana State University and gained memorable experiences along the way. Over the last eight years, I have had the opportunity to work along side several experienced professionals at The Advocate of Baton Rouge, the Daily Reveille at Louisiana State University, TigerTv, KLSU 91.1 FM, and Fox 8 WVUE New Orleans. For two years, I had the privilege of serving as the Alumni and Communications assistant for Jesuit High School. Since September of 2022, I have returned back to Fox 8 WVUE New Orleans where I currently serve as a photojournalist. In addition to chasing the next big story, I shoot portrait photography and additional video upon request.

Growing up, sports were always on the television. One of my first memories of sports included my father reciting the epic battle between Bob Gibson of the St. Louis Cardinals and Carl Yastrzemski of the Boston Red Sox in the 1967 World Series. Since then, I constantly look forward to watching current and past sporting events in order to obtain context and fully appreciate the game.

From the moment I began my academic career, I have been attracted to content creation and marketing. I possess thorough knowledge of media production, an exceptional ability to manage multiple media projects in a fast paced environment, and a willingness to write and edit news and sports stories. Whether it is managing multiple communication channels or chasing the next big story, I am always looking to challenge and improve my skills and desires.
